Whitley Bay Operatic Scoiety are proud to present the award winning musical 'Spamalot'

at Whitley Bay Playhouse from November 1st till the 5th.

Whitley Bay Operatic society are lucky enough to be one of the first amature societys in the country to be able to perform this newly released musical. The story is as follows: King Arthur is traveling around England recruiting his Knights of the Round Table. When he and his band of misfit knights finally gather in Camelot, they receive a charge from God to find the Holy Grail. The quest brings King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table to strange places and into the company of strange characters, challenging them to keep their heads on straight or die terribly weird deaths.

Featuring some hit Eric Idle songs such as Finland/Fisch Schlapping Dance, Monks Chant / He Is Not Dead Yet, Come With Me, Laker Girls Cheer, The Song That Goes Like This, All For One Knights of the Round Table, Find Your Grail, Run Away! Always Look On The Bright Side of Life, Brave Sir Robin, You Won't Succeed On Broadway, Diva's Lament (What Ever Happened To My Part?) Where Are You? His Name Is Lancelot, I'm All Alone, Twice In Every Show.
